HAPPY JULY!!!! Who wants a PREZZIE?

fireworks

Man oh man am I rusty.  I can’t believe how long it’s been since I chatted on here about books.  It has been a crazy busy time with the kids plus trying to write another book. PHEW…clearly I suck. LOL

Well I have read some really awesome reads. I just finished Chance Encounter by the amazing Christy Reece.  Up on my immediate list is Debra Webb’s See Him Die and Pamela Clare’s Soul Deep. I also have a few ARC’s that I am going to dive into.  Come be my friend on GR to see. I at least have been writing some reviews there and on Amazon.

How about a little treat for y’all.  Tell me your favorite genre and something you are really looking forward to this summer. AND I will dig deep in my bookshelves for a PREZZIE.

I hope to finish my book with my writing partner.  I will be visiting my favorite beach thanks to my awesome sister in law and brother in law, I hope to catch up on my reading too.  I want this summer to go slowly even though I have been a driving fool for my kids because…in August I will be delivering 2 kids to college. And I have to say…it is weighing heavily.  Especially taking my baby girl.

I have really missed this blog, and I hope to get back into it.  Being busy has got to stop being an excuse from getting to write.  It soothes my soul to sit and write.  Maybe this summer I will remember to do a little bit for me.

Happy 4th !!!!

❤ ❤ ❤

Happy Summer! I am looking forward to a trip to Siesta Key, FL this summer. My favorite genre at the moment is, romantic suspense. But I read a little bit of everything.

  2. I love romantic suspense best, but I read everything. Just finished Melinda Leigh’s new book and am anxiously awaiting the chance to get and read the new Linda Castillo book. Also looking forward to the new Nalini Singh psychangling paranormal romance.

  3. I love contemporary romance the best and I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on Jill Shalvis’ newest series. As for this summer, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with some girlfriends – everyone’s busy during the year with family life but we always take time in the summer to get together!

  4. Right now I’m at a split between contemporary and historical romances. Although I do like paranormal romances too. I’m really looking forward to some rest and relaxation this summer so I can read more. I’ve already got books like Jennifer Probst’s Searching for Always, Susan Mallery’s latest Fool’s Gold trilogy (Hold Me, Kiss Me and Thrill Me) and Gena Showalter’s The Hotter You Burn penciled in.

  5. CONGRATS Avonna!!!! Thanks everyone for stopping by.

  6. Erotica and Paras are a tie for me. Mix the 2 and Im hooked!

  7. It’s so good to read a post by you, Maureen! BCWAB has been sorely missed. I agree, it is so hard to find the balance in life between work and family commitments. So many things we love to do fall by the wayside. Can’t wait to read your next book!

  8. I love suspense/romance and pnr! I am looking forward to the Kiss and Tell Signing in a few weeks! I get to see one of my besties!

  9. What a great giveaway. Not sure if Canadians can enter. But if so my favorite genre is romantic suspense.
